Marie J. (Weiss) Greaves, 91, of Warwick, died peacefully on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at West View Health Center. She was the wife of the late William A. Greaves. Born in Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Weiss, Sr. and Hedwig (Albrecht) Weiss.
Mrs. Greaves was a Homemaker, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed Gardening, knitting, cooking, and baking peanut blossoms.
She leaves her loving daughter, Sandra L. Chatelle and her husband Alfred of Coventry. She was the mother of the late Sharon M. Greaves. Cherished grandmother of Scott A. Chatelle, Jared W. Chatelle and great-grandmother of Madelyn Mae Chatelle, all of Coventry. She was the sister of Frederick Weiss, Jr. of Florida

Her Funeral Service will be held Monday, April 28, 2014 at 11:00 am in THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD, 140 West Main Street, Wickford Village, North Kingstown. Burial will follow in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to a charity of one’s choice will be appreciated.
