If you like local history then you will not want to miss this free sponsored tour given by Tim Cranston, a/k/a G.T. Cranston, local historian, author and news contributor known for his “View from Swamptown” in the North East Independent.
A master story teller, Tim Cranston will introduce you to numerous “Folks of Note” resting within the gates of Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery including the inventor of the Bostich stapler, the Wickford pharmacist turned famous photographer, the much misunderstood founder of the Exeter School for the Feeble-Minded, the richest man and mill owner for which Davisville was named, and much more.
All are welcome to come join the tour. No sign up required.
