Laurie Barbara Tafazzoli (Kinnaman), 55, faithful wife of Alireza Tafazzoli for 18 years and step-mother to Samin Tafazzoli, was called home by God Almighty the most merciful, the most compassionate on Thursday afternoon April 24, 2014 after a valiant battle with liver cancer.
Laurie was born in Norwalk, CT to Barbara Kinnaman and the late William Kinnaman.
Laurie passed away peacefully at her own home with her husband and her mother by her side and under the care of VNS nurse.
Before her infirmity, Laurie was full of life. She loved the sun, the beach, and swimming among other things.
Laurie was always thankful for all her blessings, was very gracious, had a heart of gold, never raised her voice in anger, had a great sense of humor, always had a smile on her face and made everybody laugh, was very pleasant and approachable, and never complained about life’s trials and tribulations.
Laurie’s unshakable belief is Jesus Christ the Messiah as her Savior was deeply rooted which gives her loved ones great joy, peace and comfort knowing that she is with her Lord in heaven.
She is survived by her brothers: Timothy, Daniel, Matthew, and her sister Valerie and their spouses as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Laurie will have a private solemn Christian burial at Quidnessett Cemetery in North Kingstown, RI on Monday April 28, 2014.
