Coventry – Salvatore Palumbo, 76, of Ramblewood Estates died Friday, July 12, 2013 at home. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth (Bicknell) Palumbo.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Francesco “Frank” and Carmela (Messineo) Palumbo, he worked as a polisher in the jewelry industry.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons: Michael Palumbo, David Palumbo & Paul Palumbo; one sister Caroline Rodriguez; two brothers: Frank Palumbo and Domenic Palumbo; two step-children Heidi Lenz and Donovan Durand and his granddaughter Jenna Palumbo. He was predeceased by six siblings: Vinny, Tina, Francis, Anna, Josephine and Gracie.
His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 11:00 am at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home & Crematory, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited and may attend calling hours at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9:00 – 11:00 prior to the service. Inurnment will be private.
