Norma A. (Marland) Sjogren,, 74, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2013. Born in Providence; she was the daughter of the late Joe and Ruth (Spink) Marland.
She is survived by three children: Linda MacKenzie and husband Scott of West Greenwich, Karen Sjogren of Coventry and William “Bill” Sjogren and wife Taunya of West Greenwich; three grandchildren: Justin Mackenzie, Jill and Cameron Sjogren and two siblings David Marland and wife Elizabeth of Florida and Barry Marland and wife Michelle of Hope Valley; many nieces and nephews and of course her dog Kooper.
A funeral service will take place at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick on Friday, July 19 at 7 PM. Calling hours will be from 5-7 PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd., Suite 3004, Warwick, RI 02886.
