Emily L. (White) Adams, 95, of Cranston, died peacefully on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Morgan Health Center. Born in Milbury, MA, she was a daughter of the late Edward White and Laura M. (Mason) White. She was the beloved wife of Walter F. Adams.
Mrs. Adams was a Homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, knitting, dancing and spending time with her family.
Besides her husband, she leaves her children: Emily A. Torman and her husband William of Cranston, Barbara J. Wilsey of Florida, Mary G. LeDoux of Colorado, and the late Carl W. Reed. Cherished grandmother of 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Doris Collaggi, Beatrice Cuff, Mildred Hines, Bertha Mello, and Mary Provence.
Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, November 1, 2012 at 10:00 am in THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD, 140 West Main Street, Wickford Village, North Kingstown. Burial will follow in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to a charity of one’s choice will be appreciated.
