LANGLOIS, Karen E. (Maxwell), 70, of West Warwick, passed away at home on Wednesday June 15, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was married to the late Walter Langlois and mother to her late son Michael Langlois.
She was a daughter of the late Charles and Stella Maxwell.
Karen is survived by her sister Sally Eccleston (Maxwell) and her granddaughter Erin Langlois. She was also a loving aunt to her nieces Michelle, Allison, Emily, Madeline and Kimberly.
She had been employed by Parente’s Oil Service in Coventry.
Karen will be remembered for her kind and thoughtful nature, and for the delicious meals she prepared and shared with so many. She was creative and was a very talented seamstress. Karen had a zest for living life to its fullest.
There will be a graveside service for Karen at Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery in North Kingstown on Wednesday, June 20 at 10:30 A.M. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the VNA of Rhode Island 475 Kilvert Street, Warwick RI 02886.
