Fallon, James J. Jr., 84, formerly of Maryland Avenue, a retired patent maker and contractor and an owner of the former Tata and Fallon, Inc. passed away June 25, 2012 at home. He was the beloved husband of Doris E. (Anderson) Fallon and a son of the late James J. and Rosemary (Sweeney) Fallon, Sr.
Mr. Fallon was a WWII Army Air Corps veteran. He was the loving father of Donna M. Fallon and Pamela F. Greene; devoted grandfather of Brady, Fallon, and Brian Greene. He was the brother of Rosemary Hanafin, Margaret Fitzpatrick and the late Bernard Fallon.
His funeral will be held Thursday, June 28 at 9 am from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Jefferson Blvd. at 10 am. Burial with military honors will be in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 1000-Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148 will be appreciated.
