TANNER, C. MILTON 73 passed away June 21, 2012. He was the husband of Linda E. (Nelson) Tanner. Born in Providence he was a son of the late Charles S. and Charlotte L. (Griffin) Tanner.

Mr. Tanner was the owner of the former Twenty Water St. Restaurant in East Greenwich and a member of the EG Yacht Club.

Besides his wife he is survived by three children: Kristin McCabe, Charles and Frederick Tanner, five grandchildren and sisters: Dale Blackford and Barbara Gregory. Funeral service Monday at 11:00 am in the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., E. Greenwich. Burial will be private. Calling hours Sunday 3-6 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association .

Milton Tanner was a.wonderful boss to George Shields Iam so sorry I missed his funeral I would love to give my regards to his wife an children. Sincerely George Shields Daughter Rene’e
