Matthew W.T.Goodness, 26, died peacefully on April 28th, 2012 at the Phillip Hulitar Center in Providence. Born in Providence he was the son of Frank I. Goodness of Providence and Mary F. (McWhirt) Goodness of Warwick.

Besides his parents he leaves two loving siblings Tiffany E. Goodness and Kanne R. Goodness both of Warwick. Dear friends and Care Givers Jeannine Nester and Cory Gierhart. His extended family who has cared for and loved him for years The Clarke/Gierhart Family. He also leaves behind many friends including Susan Chatfield, Janice Migliore, Kris Dietz and the entire Nester Family. Most Importantly Matthew is together again with his best friend who had cared for him for 13 years the late Kent Clarke.

Matthew was a 2007 graduate of Coventry High School. Matthew’s smile would light a room and melt the heart of anyone who met him. Matthew was a fighter from the day he was born and even at the end his will was so strong, he amazed everyone who was honored to have Matthew in their life. Matthew was an avid wrestling fan, he loved watching and going to see matches. At a very young age he met Hulk Hogan. Matthew enjoyed going out to restaurants, movies, the mall, and he loved going on vacation. He enjoyed hanging out with his sister and brother; Kanne would make him laugh when he would play wrestling while Tiffany took good care of Matthew. Matthew made a lasting impact on many people’s lives. He was a fighter and will always live in our hearts. Kent Clarke was Matthew’s Superman and now they will be together forever.
