ROWE, ALICE L. (DUNHAM), 64, died peacefully with her family by her side, on Wednesday, April 25, 2012, in Pittsfield, Maine. Alice was born on November 21, 1947, in Warwick, Rhode Island, the daughter of Brinton and Florence (Bissonette) Dunham. She graduated from Cranston East High School with the class of 1965. She married Barry L. Rowe, Sr. and together they raised their family.
She enjoyed painting and making crafts. She loved being with her family and adored her dogs. She will be lovingly remembered.She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Barry Rowe, Sr. of Burnham, Maine; her two sons, Barry Rowe and wife Samantha of Rhode Island and Alfred Rowe, Sr. and companion Malissa Stewart of Burnham, Maine; grandchildren, Daniel Rowe, Joshua O’Donnell, Shelby Edwards and A.J. Rowe, Jr.; mother, Florence Dunham of Rhode Island; sisters, Florence Christensen and husband Timothy of Rhode Island and Lois Cabral of Florida; brothers-in-law, David Rowe and wife Sue Ann of North Carolina and Paul LaLiberty of Kezar Falls, Maine; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father; and her sister, Mary.
The family received friends from 6 to 7:30 PM, with a funeral service at 7:30 PM, Saturday, April 28th, 2012, at the Shorey-Nichols Funeral Home, 191 Hartland Avenue, Pittsfield, with the Rev. Elizabeth Sullivan officiating.
A Memorial Visitation will be Friday from 5:00pm to 8:00pm in the R.A. IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte. 117), Coventry.
