Saturday, October 29, 2011 following 10:00am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bernard’s Church (Section 77 Lot 1 Grave 3)
PELOPIDA, RONALD E., 57, of East Greenwich passed away on October 25, 2011 at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL. He is survived by his loving friend and wife Gulhan “Jill” Akturk-Pelopida. He was the son of the late Lawrence D. and Palma (Norcini) Pelopida.
Mr. Pelopida was the owner of Pacific Builders, Inc. and The Children’s Learning Express, Inc.
Besides his wife he leaves his sons, Ronald L., Keith and Eric; grandsons, Matthew and Christopher; brothers, Larry and Alan, many nieces, nephews and countless friends and acquaintances.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00am at St. Bernard’s Church, Tower Hill Rd., North Kingstown. Burial will be in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown. Calling hours Friday: 5-8pm at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Ronald E. Pelopida Memorial Fund, c/o The Children’s Learning Express, Inc., 7525 Post Rd., North Kingstown, RI 02852.
