Gary W. Anderson, 64, of North Kingstown, passed away after a long illness on February 24, 2014. Born in Weymouth, MA, he was a son of the late Charles Anderson and Eleanor (Favreau) Anderson Graff.He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Shea) Anderson of 43 years and their
children, Keith Anderson and his girlfriend Elizabeth Hardin of Bluffeton, SC; Jill Zito and her husband Ted of Worcester, MA; Drew Anderson and his fiance Stephanie Kruk of North Kingstown, two grandchildren Avery Ellie Zito and Joseph Gary Zito and two brothers Paul Anderson and his wife Marie of Hingham, MA and Donald Anderson and his wife Merilee of Chatham, NJ. Gary worked for over 30 years in the accounting department at Arkwright, Inc. in Fiskville.
He was an avid outdoorsman who loved cycling, skiing and hiking, especially at Lake Tahoe. He was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, who cherished his family.
Funeral Thursday at 9:00am from the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at St. Francis de Sales Church, School St., North Kingstown. Burial will be in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown. Calling hours: Wednesday 5-8pm. In lieu of flowers donations to the Jimmy Fund, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
