Committal Service with Military Honors
Friday, September 27, 2013 following 11am funeral service in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Section 19B Lot 2 Grave 3)
WARNER, KEVIN CLARKE, 75, of North Kingstown, passed away peacefully Monday, September 23, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Linda A. (Davis) Warner for forty-five years.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Mildred E. (Chappelle) Warner; and step-son of the late Calvin Kenyon.
A fourteen year Veteran of the US Army, he served in the Vietnam War as an air traffic controller. Mr. Warner was a local business owner and salesman in Rhode Island before retiring. He was a volunteer for FISH in North Kingstown. He was an avid reader and model sailboat collector. He enjoyed annual trips to Maine. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints and volunteered with the youth.
Besides his wife, he leaves five children, Kimberly S. Christensen and her husband Jeff of Hayden, ID, Jeffrey A. Warner of Salt Lake City, UT, Kathleen D. Rochette and her husband Kai of Stevensville, MT, Christopher C. Warner and his wife Holly of Westerly and Kevin D. Warner and his wife Letisia of Hayden, ID; a brother, Bruce E. Warner and his wife Rose of Tampa, FL; nineteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
His funeral service will be held Friday, September 27, 2013, at 11am in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1240 Boston Neck Road, Narragansett. Burial will be in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8pm in the church.
