Rev. Burton O. Leich, 90, passed away at home on Tuesday, August 13, 2013. He was the husband of Mary A. (Knight) Leich of East Greenwich for 61 years. Born in Buffalo, NY he was the son of the late Otto and Caroline (Siegle) Leich.
Rev. Leich was a member and assistant Pastor at Quidnessett Baptist Church in North Kingstown for many years.
Besides his wife he is survived by two children: Elizabeth Inniss of North Kingstown and Mark Leich of Wickford; nine grandchildren: Jennifer, Julie, Jessica, Karissa, Jasmine, Jared, Kayla, Jessie-Ray and Justin; two great-grandchildren: Gavin and Logan. He is predeceased by a daughter Cathy Boggs and a sister Violet Luick.
A funeral service will be held at Quidnessett Baptist Church, 6356 Post Road, North Kingstown, RI 02852 on Friday, August 16 at 10 AM followed with interment at Quidnessett Cemetery. Donations may be made in his memory to Quidnessett Baptist Church.
