Saturday, June 1, 2013 following 11:00am Memorial Service at Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Warwick, RI (Section 43 Lot 22 Grave 5B)
Mildred E. Callahan, 91, passed away on April 16, 2013. She was born on September 10, 1921. Having formerly resided in Rhode Island, Mili and Cal moved to Virginia Beach in 1985 to retire and be close to their family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husbands, Charles L. Callahan, Jr., and G. Richard Brown; son, Charles “Larry” Callahan, III and his wife Cheryl; and sister Helen Woodside.
Left to cherish her memory is her devoted daughter, Stephanie “Stevey”Callahan; sister, Lillian Nelson; grandchildren, Christopher K. Dinsmore (Michele), Mark C. Dinsmore (Michele), Carrie C. Fitzgerald (Tim), Elizabeth D. Lopes (Barry); Susan Solis; great-grandchildren, Ellie, Millie, Audrey, Max, Bash, JT, Kaleigh, Connor, Roberto and Paige and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 am at Pilgrim Lutheran Church located on 1817 Warwick Ave. in Warwick, Rhode Island. A committal prayer service will follow at Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery.
