Committal Service with Military Honors
Thursday, March 21, 2013 following 11am funeral service in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel (Section 58 Lot 6 Grave 10)
Plante, Bradford E., 72, of Cole Farm Road, passed away Sunday, March  17, 2013 at RI Hospital.  Born in Providence, he was a son of the late  Bradford H. and Dorothy L. (Malcolm) Plante.
Bradford was employed as a  security guard for many years before retiring.  He was an avid hunter,  fisherman, sportsman and reader.  He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam  War and served as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division.  He was  a member of the RI Army National Guard for four years.  He is survived  by one daughter, Pamela Young; one grandson, Matthew Young; four  sisters, Margaiel Johnson, Christine Lanoue, Allison Plante and April  Plante; one brother, William Plante and nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be held Thursday, March 21, at 11 am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave. Burial with military honors will be in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 pm.
