SCHICK, FREDERICK L, 92, of North Kingstown, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center of Hospice Care RI. He was the husband of the late Gladys J. Schick and companion of Bridget J. Finch of New Bedford, Ma.
Mr. Schick is survived by his son, Frederick D. Schick and his wife Paula M. Schick of North Kingstown and his daughter, Janice L. Sullivan and husband Boetius Sullivan of Coventry, along with five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Prior to retirement Mr. Schick worked in the contractor sales division of the Grossman Lumber Company for over 45 years. Mr. Schick was a former naval aviator serving in the Pacific Theatre in World War II. An avid golfer, Mr. Schick was a member of Alpine Country Club for 50 years. Calling hours were respectfully omitted and the funeral was private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Hospice Care Facility 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904 in his name would be appreciated.
