Friday, October 7, 2011 following 11:00am Celebration of His Life at the Hill Funeral Home
BOTTOMLEY, ROBERT D., 83, of Warwick passed away October 3, 2011. He was the husband of the late Rachel L. (McCauley) Bottomley. Born in Cranston, he was a son of the late Alfred and Helen Bottomley. Mr. Bottomley had worked for over forty years as a woodworker and was a WWII Army veteran. He was a graduate of the Rhode Island School for the Deaf.
He was the father of; Barbara E. Bottomley and Joy (Dennis) Wagner and the late Albert Bottomley. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was the youngest of eight children.
A Celebration of His Life will be held Friday at 11:00am at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich. Visitation prior to the service: 10:00-11:00am. He will be laid to rest at Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure (of breast cancer) or the Rhode Island School for the Deaf.
