Joan M. Mulhearn, 58, of Warwick, passed away unexpectedly on December 6. She was the daughter of the late Walter & Mary Mulhearn.

She is survived by two brothers, Thomas Mulhearn of Warwick with whom she resided and Walter Mulheran of Exeter and her cherished dogs, Basil, Goku, and Zuess. She was the sister of the late Carol A. Mulhearn. She lived most of her life in Cranston before moving to Warwick a month ago. She worked in the jewlery industry for over 20 years at Swarovski America LTD and most recently at Electro Standard Laboratory. She will be greatly missed by her friends and co-workers.

Joan will always be remembered as a beautiful person with a heart of gold. There is nothing she wouldn’t do to help a person out or to put a smile on someone’s face; her selflessness was truly unmatched. She loved baking her famous Dad’s Apple Pie, Foxwoods bingo, slots, and Twin River, as well as various hobbies and crafts.

Her funeral service will be held Friday, December 13, 2013 at 10 AM in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave. Burial in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown. Visiting hours Thursday 4-7 PM.
