Arthur Loffredo, 86, of Maplewood Dr., North Kingstown, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband for 62 years of Maria A. (Fandetti) Loffredo. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Anthony and Concetta (Ragosta) Loffredo.
Mr. Loffredo was a mechanical draftsman at Sealol, Inc. for 35 years before retiring and was a WWII U.S. Navy veteran. He attended Roger Williams College and Rhode Island School of Design and enjoyed golfing, bowling and music.
Besides his wife, he was the devoted father or Lori Loffredo of Hyattsville, MD and Arthur A. Loffredo of Cumberland; loving grandfather of six; loving great-grandfather of one; and dear brother of Elenora LaFazia of Warwick and the late Anne Fondi and Jenny D’Angelo.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Friday at 9:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis de Sales Church, 381 School St., North Kingstown at 11 a.m. Interment with military honors will be at Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown. VISITING HOURS are Thursday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
