Theroux, Robert N., 71, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012 at home. He was the beloved husband of Jean (Caldwell) Theroux and a son of the late Armand and Jean (Ross) Theroux.
He was a self-employed laminator and formerly was employed as a machine operator for the Leesona Corp. Mr. Theroux was a former member of the RI Army National Guard and was an avid fisherman. Besides his wife he is survived by nine children, Sherry Butler, Donna Sanville, Mark Theroux, Jody Safford, Sherrie Theroux, Kerry Spencer, Arthur Walsh, Bobbie Jo Abaga, Jessica Illas and Christy Theroux; one brother Armand Theroux; one sister Claudette Tripp; 22 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Roger Theroux.
His funeral service will be held Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 10 AM in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave. Burial will be in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Robert N. Theroux Memorial Fund, 106 Cady Ave, Warwick, RI 02889 will be appreciated.
