Robert F. Brow, Sr., 79, of Wakefield, formerly of North Kingstown,   died Sunday.  He was the beloved husband of Patricia N. (Madison) Brow  for 57 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Benjamin and  Helen (Sisson) Brow.
He was a graduate of North Kingstown High School  and in 1952 he graduated from the Radcliffe School of Agriculture at the  University of Connecticut.   Mr. Brow was employed by the Department of  Environmental Management for the State of Rhode Island for 35 years,  retiring in 1999 as Superintendent of State Piers.  He has been a  resident of Wakefield since 1996 and was a member of the Village at  Worden’s Pond Homeowner’s Association.
Besides he wife he is survived by a son, Robert F. Brow, Jr. of Tiverton; two daughters, Carol L. McQuinn of New Windsor, NY, and Pamela J. Brow of Exeter; five grandchildren; and a sister, Janice Taylorson of Chestertown, MD. He was the brother of the late Benjamin H. Brow, Jr.
A celebration of his life will be held Friday beginning at 11:30 AM at Camdens Restaurant, 756 Kingstown Road, (Rt. 108), Wakefield. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to South County Hospital, (for the benefit of the Cardiac Unit or the Emergency Room), 100 Kenyon Avenue, Wakefield, RI 02879.
