Avery-Storti Funeral Home (Section 38 Lot 12A Grave 4)
Lorena M. Loftes, 92, of Maplehurst Dr., Narragansett, died Wednesday at home. She was the daughter of the late Clayton and Maude (Sherman) Adamson; wife of the late George W. Loftes for 64 years; mother of Sheryll Houston of Narragansett, Lynette Clifford of Saunderstown and Marlane Jill Tucker Moors of Wakefield; grandmother of Correne Donnelly, Dale Clifford, Kristin Souza, Lauren Beckelman and Jennifer Tucker and great grandmother of nine.
Mrs. Loftes was a secretary for Peace Dale Processing before retiring. She was past worthy advisor of Rainbow Girls, a member of the “Club” and a former member of the Narragansett School Committee.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Visiting hours Friday 5-7 PM.
