Slack, Suzanne, 64, of Fletcher Avenue, a retired administrative assistant for the VA Medical Center passed away, Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Home & Hospice Care of RI. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the beloved daughter of Helen J. (Jarmusz) Slack and the late Wallace L. Slack.
Suzanne was the loving mother of Rhonda M. Marro, Brenda A. Morrison, Suzie Schiapo and Shonna L. Baker; grandmother of Thomas Asprinio, Briana Morrison, Jaylin Baker and Kelsey Baker; sister of Helen Miranda, Eileen Limoges, Ruth Nicastro and the late Wallace Slack and best friend of David Williams.
Her funeral will be held Monday, June 11, 2012 at 9 am from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Gregory the Great Church, Cowesett Rd. Burial in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery. Visiting hours Sunday 3-7 pm. Contributions to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904 will be appreciated.
