CRUDDEN, GERTRUDE, 85, of North Kingstown, RI, passed away peacefully on Saturday afternoon surrounded by family. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis Crudden.
Gertrude is survived by daughter Janice Warnock and her husband Stanley, son Peter Crudden and his wife Lois, daughter Kathleen Chaloux and son Thomas CruDane and his wife Mary. Loving grandmother of Kerri Anderson and her husband Edward, Robert, Ian, and Andrew Crudden and Christopher, Kathryn, and Timothy Chaloux. Great-grandmother of Courtney and Ashley Anderson. Sister to Kenneth Wilbur and Ruth Beagan.
Gertrude was an active member of the Rebekah Assembly of Rhode Island. She served as Secretary and Treasurer for many years, and was President of the organization from 1992-1993. Gertrude owned and operated Town Line Liquors in North Kingstown. She remained active in the business until 2011.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10am at the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich. Burial will be in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown.
