Warwick – Grace E. Ahlborg, 99, died Sunday, January 8, 2012 in Delray Beach, FL. She was the beloved wife of the late Walter H. Ahlborg.
Born in Newport, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Mary (Holden) Jones. She was a member of Warwick Country Club, The Little Club (Florida) and the Warwick Neck Garden Club. Her hobbies were china and oil painting.
Mrs. Ahlborg is survived by her son, M. David Elwell and his wife Donna of Warwick; her step-son, Richard W. Ahlborg of Warwick and Bonita Springs, FL; six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Audrey Wisk, Nelson and Leroy Jones.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday, January 13, 2012 at 12 Noon at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home & Crematory, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick. Calling hours Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Burial will be in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown.
