Deborah J. (Dutilly) Parent, 59, of Athol, died on Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011, at UMass Memorial Hospital.
Born April 13, 1952, in Warwick, R.I., she was the daughter of the late Gerard Dutilly, and the late Shirley (Young) Dutilly. She was the stepdaughter of the late Robert Gauvin. She was the devoted wife of Russell P. Parent for 31 years until his passing in the year 2000.
Mrs. Parent lived most of her life in Rhode Island before moving to Tennessee and later settling in Massachusetts where she lived for the past five years. She worked for ON (Formerly Cherry) Semiconductor, where she was an inspection clerk.
Mrs. Parent was the loving mother of Armand “Butch” Parent of Warwick, R.I., and the late Dawn M. (Parent) Zack of Tennessee. She leaves her grandson, Robert W. Ellis, her brothers Dennis Dutilly of Coventry, R.I. and Guy Gauvin of Warwick, R.I., and her mother-in-law, Rita Parent of Warwick, R.I. She was the sister of the late Scott Gauvin.

Burial will be private. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
