Ruth V. (Arnold) Hallbauer, 96, passed away Wednesday December 12, 2012 at the Brentwood Nursing Home. She was the beloved wife of the late John Hallbauer, Capt. Warwick Police Dept. Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Marjorie (Holbrook) Arnold.
Mrs. Hallbauer was employed as a cashier for many years at the A&P Market before retiring. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Warwick in Oakland Beach. She is survived by one daughter Carol Miller Marble, one grandson Raymond Miller, two great grandchildren Nicole and Johnathon Miller, three great great grandchildren Matthew, Justin and Lindsey Miller. She was the sister of the late Doris King, Gladys Barton, Mildred Holmes, and Lucy Gunet; and the grandmother of the late John Miller.
Her funeral service will be held Monday December 17, 2012 at 10 AM, at the First Congregational Church of Warwick, 715 Oakland Beach Ave. Burial will be in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown. In lieu of flowers contributions to the First Congregational Church of Warwick, 715 Oakland Beach Ave. Warwick RI, 02889 will be appreciated.
