Jane Anna (Murphy) Conroy, 93, died peacefully at Kent Regency on Sunday, December 9, 2012. She was the wife of the late John W. Conroy. Born in Cranston on August 6, 1919, she was one of 12 children of the late James E. Murphy and Helena (McPhee) Murphy.
Mrs. Conroy was an Assembler with Kenny Manufacturing Company for 20 years until her retirement in 1984. She was a Communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Church.
She leaves her devoted children: William Conroy of Colorado, Helen Fay of Warwick, John Conroy of Warwick, Patricia Ann Doyle of Georgia, and Stephen Conroy of Warwick. She was the mother of the late Elizabeth Lagner. Cherished grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. She was the loving sister of Raymond Murphy of Warwick.
At the family’s request, her funeral and burial will be private. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
