HARLACKER, PATRICIA A. (HARNEDY), age 77, formerly of Algonquin Drive, Warwick, died on Thursday, September 20, 2012, with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Joseph C. Harlacker, Jr., and the former wife of Frederick J. Connell, Jr.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Richard J. and Sarah I. (Genereux) Harnedy, she lived in Warwick for most of her life. Mrs. Harlacker was employed as a sales associate at the former Casual Corner store in Warwick for 25 years. She was a long-standing member of the Warwick Garden Club.
She is survived by a son, Michael J. Connell and his wife Donna of Cranston; two daughters, Mary Lou Sangster of Coventry and Colleen M. Campbell and her husband William of Warwick; a sister, Jeanne M. Holmes of Cranston; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. She was the sister of the late Richard C. Harnedy.
Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 26, at 9:30 a.m. in the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick. Visiting hours are Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904 or the Hope Alzheimer’s Center, 25 Brayton Avenue, Cranston, RI 02920.
