Saturday, February 18, 2012 following 1:00pm memorial service in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home (Section 66 Lot 3 Grave 12)

Dr. Peng Wang, 36, assistant professor of chemical engineering and pharmaceutical sciences at the University of Rhode Island, died Monday February 6, 2012. He was the husband of Ran Luo and father of Carolyn Wang.

Dr. Wang earned his doctorate from Columbia University in 2004 and his master’s and bachelor’s degrees from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China.

There will be a visitation Saturday, February 18, 2012 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Information for donations to his daughter’s future education is available at peng-wang.last-memories.com.
