Committal Service

Thursday, July 28, 2011 following 12 noon funeral at Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home (Section 58 Lot 3 Space4)

Dorothy A. (Mocksch) Reid, 95, formerly of Whitehall St, Providence, died on July 25, 2011 at the Brentwood Nursing Home in Warwick.

She was the beloved wife of the late Lynwood P. Reid. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late William T. and Annie L. (Leaman) Mocksch. She was a lifelong resident of Providence until moving to Warwick 5 years ago.  She was the devoted sister of Gladys I. Merithew with whom she lived, and the aunt of Kenneth Merithew of CA.

Visitation will begin on Thursday at 10:30 am in The Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Rd., Warwick with a Funeral Service at 12 noon. Interment will follow in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown.  In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in her memory may be made to IN-SIGHT, 43 Jefferson Blvd, Suite 1, Warwick, RI 02888.
